This is a rare version of the 1st generation CRX. From what the HT gurus mentioned, Honda offered this as an option (increased price of course) and when it was ordered, they would send the CRX to Straman to have it chopped.
I've heard the range of 300-500 were made.
Having a car converted by dealerships appears to happen to other cars too, such as the Infiniti M30.
